Good Morning - Well, okay morning for me. I have to say, I usually have no problems with Mondays and look forward to starting a new week. I am generally much more of a 'morning' person than a night person and have that morning buzz that most people are annoyed with - ha! But not today. Today I think I have officially woken up on the wrong side of the bed. Didn't get much sleep, Chris and I have gotten off on the wrong foot, can't get my coffee to creamer ratio right, am breaking out like a 14 year old, and I am dreading my 3:00 dentist appointment - nope, so far, not a pleasant Monday.
With that said, I still wanted to give an updated post this morning - we did so much this weekend. Had our chili and beer get together on Friday where I am proud to say that we used all 12 of our Sophie Conran bowls, our All Clad pots and pans and our Le Cruset dutch oven....all of which I got 'the eye' for when registering - he he. The chili was pretty amazing, thanks to Chris, and his "super spicy" version was quite the hit. On Saturday, we cleaned up the chili and beer aftermath, went for a bike ride, tried to catch Ben Harper's free show but missed it, went to have coffee instead, bought a baby gift for our friends Kevin and Jessica (congrats), went to their pumpkin carving contest where we ended up not carving a pumpkin due to time and then went to Kari's going away party. On Sunday we headed to a rally downtown, went on another bike ride, went out to lunch with Andrew, went grocery shopping, made sugar cookies, did laundry and put away laundry - in a nutshell!
So, perhaps I packed in a little too much - I did not get my nightly 8 hours of sleep, which, like a little kid, I thrive on! Anyways, I know that I love to see new posts and pictures on the other blogs that I read - hope you do as well! Enjoy ~
I am now off to get ready for work where I'm hoping to turn my Monday around. Although, somehow, work does not seem like it will do the trick...hmm.
