Good Morning - I wanted to post a few pictures of Chris's trip this weekend. Chris had the second best lap times out of the 8 guys he was with, although he would never tell you that. So I thought I would brag a little for him! Here is a summary of the trip in the words of Chris,
"...Yea, it was awesome. The RV was crazy. It was super windy and my tent got filled with sand, so that sucked. I won 20 bucks in a poker tournament - hooray! There were some sick riders who rode on solo teams that would fly by you on the trail even several laps in...they're nuts. Um, yea, I would definitely do it again next year, it was awesome. But I really missed you Tiffany, so I just don't know that I could leave you again-" Okay, so maybe not the last part, but I know that's what he was thinking - heh heh.
He did take the camera this weekend, so no pictures of the "before and after"of the basement, which is probably a good thing. It doesn't look as "While You Were Out"-ish as I imagined, haha. But, the boxes are now in proper storage and the clutter is cleared. Now, we have a blank canvas if you will - which makes the room much more appealing to start working on!
On a different note, I have certainly been feeling the effects of the economy at work - 3 programs have canceled and one has gone down to minimal service in the past 4 days. This all after the AIG scandal in California!! I will clarify, however, that their trip was most likely paid for even before they got bailed out, but nonetheless, the perception of spending 1/2 million in spa services does not look good! Anyways, this directly effects my industry, as companies do not want this same perception. Thus, canceling their lavish incentive trips and frivolous meetings is the logical thing to do - even if they do pay cancellation penalties, at least they will not be singled out for their spending. I hope that we can hold on long enough that we bounce back after the elections and pick up where things left off several weeks ago. I never imagined being so directly affected - kind of scary.
Hmm, and back to a lighter note- enjoy the pictures and have a nice Wednesday!
Tiff

I love that my favorite neighborhood bar sponsored them. Don't they throw them a celebration party or something?? :) Haha... and secondly, if they took an RV, why was Chris sleeping in a tent? Don't they have beds in RVs nowadays??
