Okay, Adams, TN really, but Nashville just sounds so fun...I am off today to visit my sister, Michelle and my nephew, Cutter! I am pretty excited; I don't get to hang out with them enough. And if I know my sister, we will have a full and crazy weekend - Michelle is so fun and always knows of the cutest little boutique stores, the best coffee shops and the prettiest hiking trails. It will be a short little vacation but the perfect way to start off this holiday season; which, can you believe it is already coming up on us?!
Happy Anniversary Chris! It's been 1 year and 3 months that we have been married and 7 1/2 years since we began dating; I can't wait for the many more ahead; I love you Chris!
And, the last order of business that I would like to share : Despite my very unwillingness to do so, I got myself out of bed early (on my day to sleep in) and went running this morning. Not far, mind you, but when my bed was a comfortable 70 degrees and the outside air was in the low 30's, this was a large feat! I am running my first ever "race" on Thanksgiving. The Turkey Trot - a 4 mile run around Wash Park on Thanksgiving morning. The perfect prelude to a big Thanksgiving meal. I have to prepare so I can keep up with my mom, who, I'm certain, will kick my butt!! Along with looking at the beautiful sunrise, here are the songs that got me back from Krameria St. to Bellaire St. when I wanted to stop and walk :
#1 : Chris and I's first dance song (The McCloskey Brothers Band,"Angel"), which gets me everytime and makes me want to forge ahead. Listen Here ----> Angel
#2 : The Flobots, "Rise". Even if the lyrics don't appeal to you, there is no denying the beat is THE BEST for running. Listen Here (sorry about the video attached with it; don't know how to just get the music) ----> Rise
Happy Friday!
