The Boot Fairy

Have you ever been visited by the boot fairy? If not, I hope that you are soon! She (well, I can only imagine the fairy is a she; after all there is no way a man could appreciate such a fabulous pair of boots) visited me in Nashville this past weekend. My sister and I came across an amazing boot sale -buy one pair get TWO pairs free! The kicker was the one pair was about as much as one should spend on whole years worth of shoes....hmm.

I decided to consult with my financial advisor, Chris. He advised me against it. Boo.

So, I slept on it. You didn't expect me to take every piece of financial "advise" too seriously, did you? It was during the night that the boot fairy must have visited me because in the morning, I awoke with the perfect answer to my problem : "Buy yourself a pair AND your financial advisor a pair and everyone will have a swing in their step!" Even my sister had the boot fairy visit her because she thought the third pair should go to her husband, Pat.

And so we did the only logical thing two girls would do after being visited by such a fairy. We trecked it back to Nashville to buy the darn boots and split the bill between the two of us. Anyways, here are my pair for your viewing pleasure; a good purchase if I do say so myself. Chris wore his new boots today as well. And, yes, I am sure that I saw a swing in his step too when he walked out the door!
