Nov. 19th Already?

I can not believe how fast this month has gone by! Perhaps it's because of the ridiculously warm weather we have been having here in Denver that makes it hard to believe it is the middle of November. Truly, we have only had 1 snow dusting this year so far and today it was in the low 70's!

Just to be sure that I don't lose my holiday spirit, I have been doing plenty of "computer screen" (instead of window) shopping for Christmas! I am proud to say that I have an idea or two for everyone on my list! And I've managed to find a thing or two (or ten) for me along the way...surprise, surprise.

Okay, I am off now to my first Curves workout - I just signed up yesterday. Hence the yoga mat. And in case you're wondering : Yes, the lady who signed me up was about 70 years old. Yes, she was a tad overweight. And, yes, she may have forgotten what she was telling me a few times.

But NO - you still may not laugh at me for joining Curves. Even though they play "The Macarena" and "Who Wears Short Shorts?", I am determined to get a good workout. I really have heard great things about it and it is close to my house, so we'll see. I am eager to try it out. I'll let you know how it goes!
