Happenings

Tonight our friends, BJ and Val, come in from Fl. and will stay with us before a bunch of us head up to Aspen this weekend. I am excited for several reasons...

A) These are our first overnight guests in our new place. They will be comfortably accommodated in the unfinished basement with dry-wall materials and tools at their bedside. Stuck on mud from the walls will be neatly strewn about the carpet and they will use the guest bathroom, where concrete is still the decorative flooring.
But.
They will have the luxury of stepping out of the shower on to a brand new, "Chris we NEED a bathmat for Beej and Val" bathmat. They will also have the luxury of using the, "Baby we NEED new towels for Beej and Val" low-thread count and on sale, sea foam green towels purchased this morning. And finally they will sleep with the, "Honey, we NEED a quilt for Beej and Val. Plus it goes with our bedding, don't you think?" New stitched quilt.

B) We get to hang out with these two. Some of our most favorite/craziest/sweetest/hilarious friends.
