I am so thankful to have a husband (and father in law, thanks Dave) who is so willing and able to make improvements around the house. We had a small dinner party last night, and no one really even noticed the new opening - I think that's a good thing; it's so well done, it looks like it's been there all along! Entertaining, cooking and having a conversation with people in the other room are so much easier now. I love it! What do you think?

Kitchen update
Chris deserves recognition for his awesome work creating the pass through window between our kitchen and dining room. These pictures are a bit overdue, as I came home to our new and improved kitchen almost 2 weeks ago and am just getting pictures of his handy work.

We may put a piece of granite counter top and cabinet under the window to create a mini-bar / extra work space area, but our kitchen cart works for now...

Hope you have a lovely Sunday evening...
