Step Right Up!

Cirque de Bebe was a fun shower to host!  Not only is Emily one of my very dearest friends, but the theme lent a lot to creativity.  I really wanted a balance of baby, circus, french influence, girl, vintage and whimsical all in one shower - okay?

I must admit that the vision was a bit of a challenge at first, but once I got going, it was a blast!  A few of my favorite details included the 'Big Top' crepe paper tent, the strung cotton candy with pictures of Em and Drew, the pink striped paper straws and old fashioned peanut bags both from Dime Store Buddy on Etsy, the Pop Corn tubs (from Dollar Tree) filled with diapers, the jars filled with baby items such as onesies, bows and bibs and of course, the Lily Pulitzer animal crackers.  I think I have the last 7 in existance thanks to Ebay and Amazon.  I know Tiffany, really? you ask  Um, yes.  I am a little bit nutty.

We served hot dogs in red and white paper trays (thanks to our local Dawg shop - Steve's Snappin' Dogs - for wanting the crazy baby shower girl to stop bugging them, thus giving them to me for FREE) with 'carnival' mustard and ketchup containers as well as pop corn, peanuts, cotton candy, animal crackers and animal cookies, and Cake Pops (home made!)

The woman of honor looked stunning - WAY too good for anyone, let alone anyone who is pregnant - and it was so fun to share this special time in her life with our good girlfriends.  Love you Em!

Note: I was too busy running around being neurotic to capture any images of me and the mama to be.  Fail.  I promise that I did not throw this for no one, haha!

You seriously outdo yourself EVERY time you have a party. It's awesome Tiff! I want to see a close up of the cake pops :)

Love the what-appear-to-be-onesies in the glass jars and the use of mod podge and clothes pins!
