I read a lot of blogs.
If you do not blog, do not spend much time on the computer, or have a life for that matter, you may not know what I am talking about.
But, for those of you who do...you know that you can easily get sucked in to this "blog web" as I like to call it. It goes something like this...
You read your friend's or your family's blog (like you may be doing here). Then you scroll down and see the little list of other blogs that person reads. Then you click on one. Just to see, of course. Innocent enough I think. Then, you go through that persons list of the blogs that they read. You get the idea.
But then you find a blog that you really adore.
You now go to this blog daily because you want to see if your new found friend (who also has no idea that you exist) has posted anything new.
I too think it's a bit nuts. But I know how many people do this. They do, right?
My favorite/most embarrassing times are when Chris catches me and I look up like I am committing a huge crime. "What?" I ask. And he replies, "Well, who the heck are these people?" In which I will reply, "Oh, just _____, ____ and their dog _____. I think we could be great friends with them if we ever moved to *insert state*. And look how cute her new shirt is that she posted about."
Okay - but really now. I have a feeling that someone might have peeked at our blog a time or two through this very "blog web" that I am speaking of. And that, my friends, makes me feel not so bad. It usually gets Chris to stop asking questions as well.
And as part of my confession, I suppose I should also assure you that the blogs I tend to read are mostly about fashion, weddings, being newly married, fun finds, tv show gossip, etc. Nothing too serious people - so relax. I am not creepy.
Whew - much better!

I have the same addiction. I too get sucked in to the blog web. Brad once came in to find me sobbing reading someones blog. He asked why I was crying. I told him these people's life story. Then he asked how I knew them and I said "I don't". I just know them on the internet. Brad calls them my internet friends. I think it is totally harmless. I hope others enjoy reading my blog. I am just glad I am not the only one!
I live in the "these are my on-line friends who don't even know me" world too! Brian just doesn't get it either... no worries!
I do the same thing. In fact, you comment on my blog and what is my reaction? What? She has a blog? I went right to it and read all of your posts. I'm glad I'm not the only 'crazy' one out there :)
