Weekend Buzz...

or maybe it's just a 4 cups of coffee buzz. Hmm. Regardless, I am excited that it is Friday! Some Friday's get me more excited than others and this seems to be one of them. Perhaps it's because I wore my hair curly today - this tends to put me in an an unusually good and slightly sassy mood.

I also think I am in a good mood because we have the 'justaboutright' amount of plans for this weekend. I get a bit panicked at jam-packed weekends for whatever reason. So, the 'not too few / not too many plans' combo works well for me.

And since I'm sure you're just dyeing to know....here is our weekend forecast:

-Grab lunch today with work amigos at TBD restaurant where I will diligently watch my points (on the weight watchers train again). I went waaaaaaay over my points last night thanks to my mom's excellent lasagna extravaganza. And it was worth it, I might add!

-Stop by Nordstrom on the way home to purchase Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner in the color Sapphire Ink.

-Have cereal, pasta, Thai food, a salad or maybe just some ice cream for dinner.

-Meet Liz for her b-day bash downtown

-Meet Becky and Thompson after Liz's b-day bash for a shuffle board re-match

-Sleep in (9:00 am for me) tomorrow morning, go for a run, get a latte (have been saving these for weekend treats), plan meals for the week, go grocery shopping, organize pantry and linen closet, clean house, meet mom at TJ MAXX (what do you think, mom?)

-Perhaps try a new church in our neighborhood on Sunday morning. We have been wanting to do this for quite some time now, but we struggle with the whole church thing. We have yet to find one that suits what we are looking for right now, or maybe it's just that we don't know what we're looking for right now... Gah - this may have to be a topic for a more serious post day!

-Make lunch to have Kim and Chris over Sunday afternoon

-Work on our house, have a glass (or two) of wine and lounge with Chris - ahh. I can hardly wait.

What are you up to?

Hey Tiff! Looks like I accomplished the organizing you didn't get to...I got tons of baby/toddler clothes organized and put in their proper tubs, then organized the attic and stowed them away in there. It is sad, though, that I did all of that work, and it is not something I can just see, you know? When you spend all day cleaning your kitchen, you have a nice clean kitchen to look at, cook in, and eat in. When you spend all day cleaning your attic...well, you just have a clean attic. Oh well.
