Passing the Time

In addition to watching marathon sessions of Breaking Bad, I have been doing my best to keep busy this weekend as we disappointingly witnessed my due date come and go on the calendar without so much as a hiccup from this baby.  In between giving "no-update" updates via texts, emails and voicemails regarding W's pending birth date, I also managed to get in a craft or two.

It's no surprise that Logan wears a bow in her hair almost every day, but it may come as a surprise to learn that up until now, they were strewn about her closet and drawers.  For some reason, I never got around to purchasing one of those pretty bow hanger thingys and it was time to corral these suckers in one place.

With a cheap wall canvas purchased from Target, some ribbon, a pair of scissors and my trusty staple gun (my favorite repurposing tool next to spray paint), I created this "Bow-tique" for Logan.

And because I didn't want to discriminate, I thought that Baby's hats should have a proper home as well...

Easy + Instant Gratification = My kind of craft (and about all I can handle at this point).

Great idea! Did the canvas come in that pattern? It's super cute! Wishing you all the best in the next few days!

Breaking Bad- we're addicted to that show. In the middle of Season 2. Have you watched the new HBO 'hit', Girls? I have the DVD of Season 1 and will bring to you so you can watch on maternity. I'm on the fence about it, but will buy Season 2 whenever it comes out. People are saying it's a more 'real' Sex & the City. Have been thinking of you and looking forward to happy and healthy news on Wednesday, if not sooner!!
